A proud graduate of the NC State University School of Design, a REALTOR with Keller Williams of Central PA East, and an admirer since childhood of old homes, I founded Willowscott Investments LLC in 2014.
I reside in the beautiful Riverside neighborhood, in a lovely old stone cottage with my pets.

After a lifetime of admiring old homes, I finally made the leap into house flipping in 2014.
I had intended to flip houses as a post-retirement, part-time career, but after the sudden illness and death of a friend, I was reminded of the brevity and the capriciousness of life and decided not to put off my dream any longer.

I was also inspired by Nicole Curtis and her DIY show "Rehab Addict". I love her philosophy of retaining as much of the original details as possible.

The city of Harrisburg also serves as a source of inspiration. Most homes here predate World War II, built during a time when homes were more of a craft than a commodity.

I do not 'flip' houses; I restore them.
​
Nothing saddens me more than to see a lovely old home that has been gutted and has white walls, beige carpet and cheap generic finishes added. It dishonors an old home to be given this kind of short-sighted "rubber stamp" treatment.

Vintage homes should be treated as the precious commodity they truly are.
